What is a Lifeline Alarm?

The lifeline alarm is designed to support the independence of people living with long-term health conditions or disabilities, reassuring them that they always have someone to help them in an emergency.

When you choose Careline365, you receive a comfortable lifeline pendant that is worn around the wrist or neck. Our Essential and Complete plans include a lifeline base unit, through which alert calls are sent. GPS plans do not require a base unit to keep you connected.

Your lifeline alarm is easy to install and test. Once you complete your test, you will be connected to our 24-hour Care Team, offering everyday peace of mind.

In an emergency, simply press the red button on the lifeline pendant and the Care Team will respond. The situation is assessed over the lifeline base unit loudspeaker, and help is arranged in the form of emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.

How About a Key Safe?

It is vital that emergency contacts and the emergency services can gain access to the lifeline alarm user’s home if they’ve had a fall or medical emergency. To make this possible, some customers choose to install a key safe on the exterior wall of their home.

A key safe is a small, secure box which stores house keys behind a combination lock. Only the alarm user and people of their choice will know the code. This code will also be passed on to the monitoring team so that they can share these details with the emergency services.

This information can make all the difference in getting help to the alarm user fast.
