100s of firefighters have been sent to tackle a blaze in London. Firefighters from all over the city were called to the scene at 7:40am, as it was spotted a blaze had broken out at The Mall in Walthamstow, East London. Walthamstow Fire - What We Know London Fire Brigade said: "15 fire engines and around 100 firefighters have been called to the fire, where part of the roof was alight by London Fire Brigade." Denise Nickerson Willy Wonka Star Dies Age 62

Former child actress Denise Nickerson has sadly passed away aged 62. Denise was best known for playing Violet Beauregarde in the original Willy Wonka and The Chocolate factory. The star was rushed to hospital on Monday where she was placed on life support. Denise had suffered a ‘severe stroke’ in June 2018 from which she had never fully recovered. The impact of this as well as suffering from pneumonia and frequent seizures sadly led to her entering a coma-like state from which her condition progressively worsened.
