Careline fall alarms are an easy and reliable way of raising a call for help when it is most needed. Our fall alarms come in two parts; the base unit and the MyAmie Pendant.
The base unit needs to be plugged into your existing landline telephone socket and a power socket. Your landline telephone will then be plugged into the back of the base unit itself. The pendant can be worn either around the neck or the wrist depending on the user’s preference, and both attachments come inside the alarm’s box.
The MyAmie pendant is small and stylish which means that our customers will not feel like they stand out, or feel embarrassed about wearing them. The pendant is also waterproof so that the wearer can keep it on when they are in the bath or shower – a time when the chance of a fall increases!
The little device also has a range of up to 100 metres. This means that, depending on the length of your garden, your alarm will still work if you are sunbathing or doing a bit of gardening.
When Fall Alarms Are Needed
Our fall alarms are activated when the user presses the big red button on their pendant or base unit. This is all you need to do if you have a fall, or if you just generally feel unwell and need medical help. Pressing this button alerts our UK-based, Platinum Accredited monitoring centre – who are ready to help 24-hours a day, 365 days a year to ensure that you receive a reliable and high quality of service.
A member of the monitoring centre will try and speak with the user over the loudspeaker on the base unit. After assessing the situation they will then proceed to call for your emergency contacts and, if they are needed, the emergency services.
Users of our fall alarms can select up to six emergency contacts during the ordering process, with most customers choosing family members, close friends and neighbours. The monitoring centre will also have a record of your medical ambien conditions and history, which could be very useful to the paramedics when they call them.
Ordering Fall Alarms
Our fall alarms are available to order through our website or over the phone. Customers can choose to order their device on a Yearly Plan or a Monthly Plan.
The Yearly Plan comes at a price of £125, with a one-off additional payment of £40 to cover the set-up and costs. If you would prefer to pay on the Monthly Plan then this is available for just £13.89 per month. The first quarter will be paid upfront, along with the £40 one-off payment, which means you will pay £81.67 upfront for your alarm.
